Custom pottery is available upon request as long as it is somewhat similar to what is pictured on this website. For example if you want an urn shaped like a guitar, or a tractor… you’ve come to the wrong place!
Some things to ponder:
The glaze palette is not like a paint palette. I cannot just take out my watercolor set and have immediate color. Like most paints, glaze colors come from earth pigments, but are mixed with clay and silica (glass) and become the colors you see only through the transformation of fire. During the long process of a kiln firing the colors change to what you see on the finished piece. My palette of subtle colors, have taken years to develop. So please look carefully at the colors of my work before ordering.
Each piece of pottery is made by my hands and each kiln firing varies slightly. If you would like me to match something that you may have ordered from me two years ago, just know that it cannot be an exact replica.
Now some details about custom prices:
Biodegradable Urns can have text put directly into the clay, they can also have
specific color flowers pressed into the white clay. I cannot change the color of the clay though.
Text and specific flower color prices range from $25 to $100.
A price example from a recent Biodegradable urn order is as follows:
One biodegradable medium size urn, $175
Add text from poem and one name (five lines), $50
Yellow flowers only, $25
Total for biodegradable custom urn - $250
Classic and Platinum Urns can have a name painted on the side or bottom of the urn. Any other details can be discussed through email contact or over the phone.
A price example from a recent custom urn order is a follows:
One classic individual urn, $375
Add one name $25
Custom painting of lotus flowers around the whole urn, add $100
Total for this custom urn - $500

Payment: You can use your PayPal account online, or you may use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover cards over the phone. Cashiers checks and money orders are welcome. Personal checks are accepted with prior approval over the phone.
