Welcome to Lucia Pottery Classes. Here you will find a wonderful working environment, not only in the beautiful, light, sunny studio space, but in the supportive and positive teaching atmosphere which I create. (See student testimonials.)
Our classes are held in my studio space, which is equipped with four potter’s wheels, two electric kilns, and three work tables for hand building and glazing. Class size is limited to four students per class, so that plenty of attention is given to each student.
Classes are offered four times a year… Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. All classes are ten weeks long, two hours per class, except for one to one lessons which are flexible. Included in all classes is, “on your own studio time” (practice time… pottery can be a challenge.) These two extra hours outside of class time can be taken before or after class, or afternoons when the studio is free.
So come and enjoy some time out for yourself!

Upcoming Workshops
Coming this Summer and Fall

I have a number of students from around the country, and the world watching my throwing videos on YouTube; many wishing they lived closer to take classes with me. At a few of their requests I have created a week long workshop for July and October). Our July workshop was a very successful and productive time! Looking forward to the October 11th -15th workshop, which is filled (but please sign up on the wait list if you are interested). More workshops to come next summer!

This workshop is geared for advanced beginners to“wannabe” full time potters! The week will include the many aspects of throwing that I focus on in the videos. See video link.

If you are interested, send me an email for full schedule with details on price and accommodations.

I have teamed up with a beautiful, local B&B, The House on the Hill, and in town restaurants for discounts! Just mention to Donna at House on the Hill, that you would like the Pottery Package Price! Special coupons will be available at the studio for restaurant discounts!
